Product Launch
(Tales Runner)

10,000 members and 150,000 pieces of content — before the game even launched.

  • When Gala-Net acquired the rights to publish Tales Runner in North America, there was nothing in place — no team, no community channels, no audience. I was brought in to build all of it, while simultaneously generating hype for an unreleased game.

  • I hired and trained a community and support team from scratch, then turned my attention to the players. I spent time with early fans to understand what made them tick — they were irreverent, competitive, and kind — and built a community culture around that identity. I also handled press outreach and wrote marketing copy for the launch campaign.

  • By the time Tales Runner launched, the community already had over 10,000 members who had generated more than 150,000 forum posts, images, videos, and blog entries. The game launched into an audience that was genuinely ready for it.
